Challenge

South Mackay Catholic College needed two large OSD tanks beneath new classrooms and carparks, but specified modular concrete tanks carried punishing freight costs to regional Queensland.

02

Solution

GRAF replaced the concrete spec with stackable EcoBloc tanks in partnership with Australia Wide Lining. No cranes on site. Both tanks achieved required volume, levels and traffic loading.

03

Outcomes

  • 665 m³ across two tanks (396 + 269 m³)
  • One week install per tank with no heavy machinery
  • 30 to 40% saving versus concrete alternative
