Woollam Constructions were awarded the building works at Mackay's new Catholic College, at the former iconic Sugar Research Institute on Nebo Road, Mackay. The extensive project includes construction of new classrooms, science block covered areas and amenities, canteen, carparks and associated access and road works.

The project required 2x large Onsite Stormwater Detention tanks to manage the stormwater flows from the new buildings and hard stand areas onsite, before being released into the local stormwater network. Graf were approached to offer a cost saving alternative to the heavy modular concrete tanks in the tender plans.
