Project Overview

Mulungu Aboriginal Corporation Primary Health Care Services is a provider of Indigenous health services to communities of the Tablelands region in Far North Queensland.

Mulungu have been successful in securing funds to build a new clinic and training building on property they have purchased at the corner of Robert Rd and Water St, Atherton. Hutchinson Builders were awarded this project to deliver a Clinic Building, the Training Building and additional 41 car park spaces. Working with Gilboy Hydraulic Solutions, the 10kL Platin XL tank was specified in the project plans to provide the 10'000 litres of rainwater storage beneath the Heath Clinic basement car park.

The rainwater system included rainwater filters, the 10kL Graf Platin XL tank and a Grundfos submersible pump to store the rainwater from the new buildings roofs, and use as recycled water for all of the toilets and urinals.
