Burleigh, QLD Background Solution GRAF’s Stormwater Engineers provided detailed designs of an EcoBloc system. The tank was fully trafficable and designed to utilise the full availa­ ble footprint. Since the surface over the tank was sloped, the tank had to be designed in stepped levels to maintain the minimum cover depth throughout. Reece Civil Nerang provided a holis­ tic supply and fully welded installation package, delivering the client both a cost and time saving against a concrete alternative with a single pur­ chase order. Civil Consultants Farr Engineers needed a 763m3 Onsite Stormwater Detention system for their project at The Verge Retirement Village in Burleigh Heads, QLD. The tank needed to be beneath a carpark with minimal cover and an irregular footprint. The client required a system with a 25-year warranty, RPEQ and Form 15 certification, with maintenance plans and partners in place to provide ongoing service.
