Wastewater Treatment Plant

A large meat processing plant in Canterbury required an onsite wastewater treatment plant for their staff due to their original treatment plant no longer complying with Consent Conditions. With approximately 600 staff, the wastewater treatment plant needed to be able to cope with the amount of waste coming from the employees administration offices and operations. Case Study WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CANTERBURY, NEW ZEALAND SOLUTION GRAF, in conjunction with our local preferred wastewater contractor, All About Sewage and designer, Andrew Dakers from EcoEng, installed a wastewater treatment plant that comprised of x2 18,000l GRAF systems being installed parallel. This system allows for daily flowrates of 36,000l and discharges to a sand bed filter irrigation field. Sample points were also installed to allow for regular testing of the effluent.
