Challenge
A foreshore business park on Waiheke Island combined café, restaurant, apartment and hotel wastewater. The ageing SBR plant failed consent and posed hydrogen sulphide hazards.

Solution
GWE Engineering designed a communal treatment plant with three 25 kL SBR tanks, UV disinfection and low-pressure dripper irrigation. Water Projects installed in four days.
