Due to the growing local tourism and the desire to explore the abundant walking trails in the Lakes District the client has designed an ecofriendly establishment to cater hikers, back packers and adventurers. The Blackthorn Lodge comprises of huts for accommodation and a communal building. The Blackthorn Lodge comprises of 14 x Huts (Two of which are self- contained) and One Ancillary Building (communal kitchen, ablutions, laundry, and communal area). The Huts will provide accommodation for up to 50 guests with flow allowance of 150 litres/person/day.
