Project Overview

EcoBloc on site Stormwater Infiltration Newman Catholic College JCU Cairns Campus 150m3 Bryant Building Contractors were awarded the construction of Newman Catholic College. The project includes construction of the new Catholic College within the James Cook University, Smithfield. The college will accommodate 125 year 7 students in 2020 and over the next few years will progressively reach year 12 by 2027. It is a master planned college that will be built in four stages over a 10-year period. The project required 150m3 of infiltration tank volume to manage the additional stormwater calculated from the new building roofs and car parks.
