Challenge
Crabtree Manorway North is a new-build industrial estate in Belvedere with three units including offices and warehouse. Readie Construction needed flood protection, Borough of Bexley run-off compliance, and a tank that could sit around unit foundations while carrying daily heavy lorry loads.
Solution
GRAF UK specified, designed and installed a tailor-made ~900 m³ EcoBloc Inspect Flex system of about 4,500 crates, wrapped in geomembrane for attenuation, with three Vario 800 Flex inspection shafts. Published load capacity is up to 60 tonnes with 1,000 mm cover.
Outcomes
- ~900 m³ attenuation under industrial hardstand
- Meets 9.7 L/s local authority discharge requirement
- Modular layout fitted around concrete and metal foundations
