Product details

Key construction, installation and performance notes for EcoLoop Sapphire Hydrodynamic Separator.

Overview

EcoLoop Sapphire (Saphir) is a hydrodynamic separator for stormwater pre-treatment per DWA-A 102-2. Nature-inspired inlet geometry reduces turbulence for optimised tangential inflow; a two-chamber layout with an integrated flow separator delivers reliable retention of filterable solids (AFS) — confirmed by independent PIA Aachen laboratory testing (AFS63). Use ahead of surface-water discharge or upstream of a retention facility. Compact, pre-assembled with inlet/outlet pipe, no height offset between connections, easy maintenance access. Truck loading possible with a truck-rated cover plus load-distribution plate. Covers ordered separately. Source: graf.info EcoLoop Saphir.

Official GRAF walkthrough of EcoLoop Sapphire — nature-inspired inlet geometry, two-chamber settling, and AFS retention ahead of surface-water discharge or retention.

  • Special inlet geometry reduces turbulence for optimised tangential inflow
  • Two-chamber system with integrated flow separator prevents sediment remobilisation
  • Independently tested by PIA Aachen for AFS63 retention (DWA-A 102-2)
  • No height offset between inlet and outlet; compact pre-assembled unit
  • Suitable upstream of surface-water discharge or a retention facility
